You may have noticed that on several occasions, you may be trying to open the open Dell document hub but a message is popping up again and again that no printer is installed. I also encountered the same issue which I could get resolved by simply adhering to some pairing steps.
Here is a quick guide as to how you can streamline or pair WPS pin on Dell Printer in order to get identified on Dell Document Hub.
Step 1 - Just tap on the operating panel located on your Dell printer.
Step 2 - Now select the Network Setup and then go to the WPS push or pin method.
Step 3 - Opt to choose the PIN method and take down the 8-10 digit number that will be becoming visible under the PIN method.
Step 4 – Now open the security page of your router and punch in the Wps Pin Drucker.
Step 5 – Finally, go to the printer setup after clicking on the WiFi icon.
Step 1 - Ensure that your printer is connected to the computer via a USB cable.
Step 2 - Now on the Search Bar available on the Task Bar, type Wireless Setup Utility. On the upper right corner of the screen (In Windows 8) click on Wireless Setup under the charms bar.
Step 3 - When the Wireless Setup Utility opens, the printer will try to search the different networks.
Step 4 - When you see your Network, tap on it to continue.
Step 5 – Now enter the password and click OK when the “Dell Allow” dialogue box appears.
Note: if the Dell printer is unable to search the network as contemplated in step 3 above, then follow Steps 6 to Step 10 to establish the connection.
Step 6 - Give click on the Unlisted Network option.
Step 7 - Feed into the name of the Network and click Continue subsequently.
Step 8 - Enter the Network Key after selecting and clicking on the Network Security that your specific router has.
Step 9 – The Allow Dell Software window will appear after which you have to remove the USB cable when the instructions pop up the message.
Step 10 – The printer will stand connected to the network and the WPS pin on Dell Printer will get identified.
