How to Replace Ink on a Epson WF 2750 Printer?

When thinking of bringing a printer home, an EPSON WF 2750 is a perfect solution for fast and reliable printing. It is built with Precision core printing technology providing professional-quality documents.

The best part is not here yet though, yes, it has affordable individual ink cartridges which give the flexibility to replace the required color only. But the main question for which you must be referring to this article must be how to replace ink on an Epson WF 2750 Printer.

Steps to Replace Ink on an Epson WF 2750 Printer

Step 1: Turn On the Epson Printer Machine

If the cartridge is completely used up it will send a message automatically on the screen of the printer. Just make sure which cartridges have to be replaced and select the ok and up arrow buttons.

In case you are replacing the ink cartridge before you see a warning or error message on the LCD screen, press the up or down arrow button. This will take you to the Setup screen of the printer and then you can click the OK button.

Next, choose the choices as Maintenance > Ink Cartridge(s) Replacement and nudge any one of the Start buttons.

Step 2: Open and Lift the Scanner Unit

We do so to expose the ink cartridges. Now, wait until the printhead stops before taking out the cartridges.

Do NOT TOUCH the printhead and the flat white cable placed inside the printer.

Step 3: Squeeze the Tab of the Ink Cartridge

Compress the tab of the current ink cartridges and then raise the cartridge system directly up in order to dismiss it from its position.  It should glide out effortlessly with a slight wiggling at most.

Warning: In case the ink collapses on your skin, clean it thoroughly using soap and water. If the ink splashes into your eyes, fast sterile them using fresh and cold water. If the ink comes in contact with your mouth, spit it out and find a medic right away before it initiates any problem. Most essentially, the ink cartridges should be held out at the distance from children.

Step 4: Remove the Packages

Before setting and installing the new cartridge, wobble it gently a couple of times and then remove the ink cartridge from its package.

Remove the yellow tape that locks the cartridge. This yellow tab is the only thing you should take off. DO NOT take anything else off.

  • Do not remove the other seals or it will leak.
  • The green chip is off-limits on the cartridge.
  • Do not remove any of the labels.

Step 5: Add a New Cartridge

Remove the old cartridge and insert the new cartridge correctly in its designated holder and push it inside down. When a new cartridge is inserted it clicks with a sound on being placed right.

Step 6: Check it out

Press the color button on the printer to ensure that the cartridge has been installed correctly.

Step 7: Final Task- Close the Unit

Now that all that's needed is done, close the scanner unit. Once the device is set up the printer will start changing the ink which might take a minute or two. When you see the success message on the LCD screen the ink replacement is finally completed.

Now that the cartridge is replaced we are good to go with more printing. Happy printing Leute.
