I had observed Error 79 problem that I could get rectified by executing a default factory reset. So, here is the detailed procedure laid down to reset Samsung printer to factory default on your Samsung printer. 

General Resetting Procedure for Samsung Printer

For all kinds of Samsung printers, there is a common process that can be adhered to for resetting the printer. Please ensure that before you start the resetting procedure, the pending printing job in the queue is cleared.

Step 1 - Press the “Menu” key followed by pressing 1234 quickly. This will have the consequence of displaying the Tech settings.

Step 2 - Press “Enter” after pressing the Menu key again. 

Step 3 - As a result of executing Step 2, your computer or laptop’s screen will come in “Tech Mode”.

Step 4 - Now pressing “<” key twice will open the operator panel of your Samsung printer with the message “New Cartridge Message”.

Step 5 - Now select “Enter” after which the panel will display “Yes”.

Step 6 – After all this exercise, now press 1234 again.

Samsung Printer Default Factory Reset Manually

If the printer cannot be reset in auto mode, just reset Samsung printer to factory default manually.

Step 1 - Long press the power push button of your Samsung printer until the power LED goes off.

Step 2 – Plug out the connecting cables from the rear end of your Samsung printer and wait for 15 minutes after this disconnection.

Step 3 – Plug in the power cable back into the Samsung printer and also insert the other end into the AC power outlet.

Step 4 – Now, long-press the “Stop” button which will result in printing a demo page.

Step 1 - Either press the Windows button on the keyboard or click the Windows icon.

Step 2 - Now go to the control panel.

Step 3 - Now choose “Administrative Tools”.

Step 4 - After the “Administrative Tools” is selected, a complete list of various settings will pop up. From it, choose the “print Management” option.

Step 5 - Under Print Management, choose “Print Servers”.

Step 6 - Right-click on the Print Server and select Add or Remove servers.

Step 7 – When the Configure Print Management option is displayed, click on the “Remove All” tab under the Print Server option.
